Our unit of inquiry is around this idea:
Communities create transportation systems to meet their changing needs.
To explore the idea of a response to a need, we looked at a situation where three goats had run out of good grass, could see good grass on the other side of the river, but couldn't get to it.
Lots of people immediately thought of bridges. So, using whatever we liked, we made some.
We told the story of the Three Billygoats Gruff too, with help from Matteo. And in Friday Free Flow Kai and Matteo drew an illustration.
