Rockets and Aliens

Hello, and welcome to the K3 blog!

As our unit of inquiry is all around transport systems, we're starting off our class reading with the great book Man on the Moon.

We've found lots of other books with aliens in too, like:
  • But Martin!
  • The Way Back Home
  • Here Come the Aliens
  • Toys in Space
In the playground we've been creating a moon - and Mars! - along with craters, aliens and rockets!

    K3 I saw these pictures in the playground and they look wonderful. I'd like to have a go with the big chalks too and I bet K2 would love it. I also saw the aliens on your classroom wall and they look like a strange lot. They are all so individual. I wonder if you've been imagining how they sound when they talk...There is some good alien talk in 'Here come the aliens' isn't there?
