Teddy Bear Morning in K3

On Thursday, the children enjoyed our Teddy Bear Morning.
They wrote about their furry friend, measured, sketched, painted,  photographed (on the ipads) and even had a little teddy bear party to celebrate their adorable friend.

 K3L have been very busy doing all kinds of measuring at home.

Biscuits, old and new

We've been looking at recipes for biscuits. 

The old one, wartime honey cookies, was made at a time when people couldn't get eggs and chocolate easily. For the new one, chocolate chip cookies, we can get those things!

 

The next day, we tasted them both and decided which one we liked best.

Measuring

We're doing lots of measuring in class, getting used to use the balancing scales and also measuring liquids in containers.
