Spooky!

There were a lot of spooky characters at school yesterday!
The theme carried on into the forest, where Mr Gregg told us a story,

and we met some friendly witches:
And made some potions in cauldrons:
Here's a song we sang:

Pumpkin Soup

We've read the book Pumpkin Soup in class, and this morning we made some pumpkin soup of our own.

An end-of-half-term map

Our unit on transport is coming to an end this week, so we looked back at some of our work this half term, and then had another go at making a map that shows transport links. Have a look!

Maps from K3H are here. Maps from K3G are here.

Lots of children in K3G had time to talk about their maps.

Sessions PYP sur les transports

Les élèves de K3 ont travaillé sur le thème des transports en faisant des dessins, créant leurs transports avec des formes en mousse et pratiquant leur vocabulaire avec la chanson "les roues de l'autobus".

Forest School 3

K3 had a great time at the forest today, meeting some new friends with goggly eyes, making something for them, running round "The Circle" and walking along ropes between trees!

Getting to the Moon

We'll be using Cuisenaire rods for lots of maths this year. But, as the K3 children are so creative with them, we're keen to bring their creativity along too. Look at all the great patterns in our pictures of "Getting to the Moon"!

Have a look at the album.
